Northbrook Garden Club's plant sale is a fun, popular and well organized annual event with a thousands of perennials, natives and non-natives for sale. There will be over 100 different varieties for sun to shade, dry and moist soils, and everything in between! We also have vegetable starts and herbs, and a small number of shrubs/small trees.
More importantly - experienced and Master Gardeners will be available for help and advise - from recommending hardy perennial plants to incorporate into your existing garden beds for beautiful results, to stocking a butterfly garden from scratch. Club members will be on-hand to share tips and provide advice on plants that will succeed in Northbrook area gardens and bring joy year after year.
Visit and browse extensive offerings. This is Northbrook Garden Club's annual fundraiser to support our scholarship and community programs, and educational events on gardening, sustainability practices and much more.

Join us as we lift the lid on beehives and give you an amazing tour of the occupants and their activities. Presenter Gregg Walter of Harbor Honey will share a little history and provide an introduction to different types of bees and the variety of roles they perform.

Each summer a number of members volunteer to open their gardens for a tour (for members only). We share our successes and failures, and projects we are working on. We get advice from others and share ideas. These are fun, social, and educational events. It's a joy to see the wide range of gardens - large and small, newly planted and mature, gardens with native plants and ornamentals - lots of variety - and always inspirational!

Northbrook Garden Club are co-sponsoring this event with Northbrook Public Library. Presenter David Eubanks, Principal Ecologist, Eubanks Environmental has expertise in landscape design, planning habitats -- wetlands, woodlands and prairies -- and natural area restoration. This program will explain how you can support the natural environment and provide much needed habitats by incorporating native plants into existing and new plantings.
